Cyndi graduated with a Master’s Degree from the University of Illinois. Part of her long career in education involved counseling single parents and women about different career options and educational opportunities. Various life skills, along with personality and aptitude testing, were taught and encouraged. It is considered a blessing in her life to have ministered to children in educational, church and social settings. Cyndi has experience with the twelve step programs and the support groups using these programs. She has led group study on co-dependency. Having been through the program called Divorce Care, she is preparing to lead other groups through this study and is continually learning through the American Association of Christian Counselors. Annette has been married to her husband, Terry, for nearly 28 years and has one teenage son, Austin. Annette graduated from the University of Illinois with a degree in education. She spent several years teaching adults in a variety of capacities. Her primary focus at first was helping others find their gifting, talents and life purpose. Annette still has an interest in that area, but she also has always had a heart to help the emotionally hurting. She has pursued training in counseling and has co-facilitated men's small groups for domestic violence prevention and women's small group bible studies with a focus on emotional health and healing. She has a special understanding of coping with depression. Annette has also taken training in addiction relapse prevention.
